BEEBE, Ark. – Arkansas State University-Searcy, a technical campus of ASU-Beebe, will host an ASU-Searcy Information Expo on Tuesday, July 21; Thursday, July 30; and Wednesday, August 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Main Building, Room 117 on the Searcy campus.   

Do you want a second chance at college, obtain your GED, or would you like to increase your earning potential? The ASU-Searcy Information Expo is an excellent opportunity to visit the Searcy campus, learn more about the programs offered, receive information on earning a high school diploma, or explore the funding options and available scholarships. A personal guide will be available to answer questions and assist with the admission process.

ASU-Searcy serves a range of students from high school, through the Regional Career Center or concurrent classes, to non-traditional students earning certificates or associate degrees.

ASU-Searcy offers certificates of proficiency and technical certification in various fields, such as air conditioning, auto body repair, automotive technology, computerized machining, diesel technology, EMT-Paramedics, health information assistant, office occupations, power sports, practical nursing, welding technology, and the newest program in Multi-Skills Technology.

With the focus on technical and occupational programs at ASU-Searcy, students can complete programs within one year, and earn a technical certificate. Credits earned will also apply to the Associate of Applied Science in General Technology degree for those who want to continue their education after the technical certificate.

Arkansas State University-Beebe is an operationally separate, two-year institution of the Arkansas State University System.  With campuses located in Beebe, Heber Springs, Searcy, and Little Rock Air Force Base, the university offers associate degrees, certificates, and non-credit training for business and industry.  The Beebe campus also collaborates with Arkansas State, a four-year university in Jonesboro, to offer baccalaureate and graduate degrees on the Beebe campus.
