BEEBE, Ark. (KTHV) - John Deere Company awarded several students from all over the U.S. a scholarship to attend Arkansas State University in Beebe, Ark. 

The recipients of the John Deere Agriculture Technology scholarships include Hunter Nash of Mo., who was awarded the $1,000 Outstanding John Deere Ag-Tech scholarship, Jared Conder of Griffithville, Brandon Keck and Anthony Key of Austin, Austin Stephens of Brookland and Patrick Owen of Pine Bluff, which were all awarded the $500 John Deere Ag-Tech scholarship.

The ASU-Beebe John Deere Ag-Tech program was recently awarded the distinction of a five-year accreditation. Students learn to repair agricultural equipment with courses in various components of the machinery, such as diesel engines, electrical systems, power trains, and hydraulics.
