SEARCY, Ark. (KTHV) - The cause of death in the investigation of two Searcy residents has been determined.
According to Searcy police, results from the Arkansas State Crime Lab indicated that no foul play was involved in the deaths of Aaron Sweet, 19, and his girlfriend, Samantha Epsy, 23. Authorities said both died due to an "accidental overdose due to methadone intoxication."
Authorities say the two were found deceased in late April by Sweet's mother in her apartment.
