Arkansas highway department wants to involve public in expanding Highway 64

LITTLE ROCK (AHTD) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Beebe to discuss plans to widen Highway 64 in White County.  

The construction work will expand Highway 64 to 4 travel lanes with a center lane. The work will extend 3.3 miles west of Beebe.  

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 17th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Crosspoint Ministries (Fellowship Hall). It is located at 805 Highway 64 West in Beebe.  

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.  For more information, contact the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department’s Environmental Division at 501-569-2281.
