Road work requires detour on Hwy 67 in White County

LITTLE ROCK (AHTD) – Repair work will require closing northbound traffic on U.S. Highway 67 in White County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

This repair work will be performed in a construction zone where traffic is currently reduced to one lane in both directions. The northbound closure will be located between mile markers 51 and 55. That’s between Judsonia and Bald Knob.

The closure will be Friday, February 14th between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.

During the repair work, all northbound traffic will be diverted off U.S. Highway 67 at Exit 51 (Judsonia) and onto State Highway 157, then to State Highway 367 through Bald Knob and will return to U.S. Highway 67 at Exit 55 (Bald Knob/Batesville).

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
