SEARCY, Ark. (Sept. 5, 2015) - Yarnell's Ice Cream is once again the exclusive ice cream sponsor of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, officials announced on Saturday at the season-opening football game held at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The partnership brings two beloved Arkansas standards back together for the first time since the ice cream company relaunched in 2012.

"We are so pleased to reunite these two Arkansas traditions," said Kevin Boyle, CEO of Schulze & Burch Biscuit Company, the Chicago-based business that purchased Yarnell's in November 2011. "Arkansans love Yarnell's Ice Cream, and they love the Razorbacks."

More details of this partnership will be announced later this fall. Yarnell's plans to introduce a number of Arkansas Razorback-themed flavors in the near future. Until that time, Arkansans are encouraged to enjoy their favorite Yarnell's flavors at their local grocers.

"From every corner of the state and everywhere in between, Arkansans follow the Razorbacks and enjoy Yarnell's Ice Cream," said Jeff Long, University of Arkansas Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics. "We are excited that once again our partnership will help bring the nation's most passionate fans together with one of our state's most beloved brands."
