Riverview Selects "Teacher of the Year"

Congratulations to Riverview Jr. High and High School Survey of Fine Arts and Choir Teacher Mrs. Amy Thomas. Amy was selected the 2012 Riverview "Teacher of The Year" by Riverview faculty, staff, and students. Mrs. Thomas was chosen as Teacher of the Year because she truly is a great teacher, hardworking, friendly, and enthusiastic about her subject. She is a prime example. Amy has led Riverview's choirs to achieve excellent and superior ratings and state recognition, receiving high scores at each contest. This year Mrs. Thomas was the first ever Sweepstakes Trophy Winner. She will put on a show at any of the Riverview concerts. Because of her choreography and creativity, the flagline has received 1's at competitions. Her accomplishments aren't limited to Riverview. She manages a successful dance studio while being a caring wife and mother. Mrs. Thomas contributes greatly to Riverview in more ways than one and that is why she is the 2012 Riverview Teacher of the Year and that is why the 2012 "Reflection" Yearbook was also dedicated to her. Assistant Superintendent Mr. Ronnie Greer presents the Teacher of the Year award to Mrs. Amy Thomas.
